Custom frame for large city map. 105cm x 120cm.
Our friends of Kingkool hostel wanted to hang a large detailed map of the full city of The Hague for ttheir guests. Since the map is awkwardly sized and fragile, they asked us to help out with a solution.
We started out with a wooden base on which we could flatten the map. We made alarge FUNC pink outer frame of a classical arch, a flat kingkool green section followed by an upright frame of formply in which we mounted glass that is held in place by angled strips of black MDF.
